Super Sunday returns today as the Merseyside derby takes center stage, followed by the clash of the titans, Manchester United and Chelsea.
This years Mersey battle is far more intriguing due to the starts from both clubs.
Everton, under the excellent stewardship of David Moyes, have started much better than in recent years and are serious contenders for a European place.
Liverpool on the other hand, whose new manager Brendan Rogers is slowly turning the screw, languish down in mid table.
They do however play a much better brand of football than in recent years and a victory today would be a massive sign in their development under the former Swansea man.
The big one however sees the most successful Premier League team ever against the current leaders.
Manchester United are beginning to get into top gear, although continue to struggle at the back in the absence of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.
Chelsea on the other hand, with the exception of Europe, have been dominant all year with their new brand of intricate passing, stemmed by Edin Hazard and Juan Mata.
Both games could well be tight affairs and both will surely be settled by only one goal.
Prediction for both games.
Everton 1-1 Liverpool
Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United
Whoever loses today in both games will have a tricky season playing catch up to their rivals.
