The Champions League returns tonight with Manchester City hoping to finally get a win in their group of death.
The Premier League champions have struggled in Europe for the last two seasons, and at this rate will fail to drop down and qualify for the Europa League as well.
Their cause has not been helped after the withdrawals of Joleon Lescott and James Milner, who both missed the trip to West Ham on the weekend.
This is added to the already long list, including Maicon, Micah Richards and David Silva who are unnavailable to play.
If City lose, they will be a minimum of five points away from the next place team, and would almost certainly be out.
Elsewhere, Arsenal look to get back to winning ways as they face Schalke who defeated them 2-0 at the Emirates a fortnight ago.
The Gunners are without welshman Aaron Ramsey, and will have an inexperienced goalkeeper in James Shea between the sticks.
The other ties tonight include Real Madrid V Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan V Malaga and PSG V Dynamo Zagreb.
