England Knights full back Greg Eden today completed his move from Huddersfield Giants to Hull KR.
The former Giant put pen to paper on a three year deal that will see him become first choice full back at Craven Park.
The deal has come out of the blue as Eden had recently signed a new deal with the Huddersfield based outfit that would have kept him at the club until 2015.
The 22 year old, who celebrates his birthday today had a good start to his Giants career as he made a name for himself with flamboyance and flair linked in with quick feet and battling tackling.
However, after the managerial change during the season, he became frozen out and he would have been third in the pecking order behind Scott Grix and Aaron Murphy for the 2013 season.
With that in mind, Eden and the clubs moved quickly to negotiate a deal, that sees the Humberside club pay a fee for his services.
In total, Eden played 24 times in the super league for the Giants, scoring eight tries.
