Cue Action – Four Men Remain – By Will Vallely

The Party Poker premier league snooker semi-final line-up has taken shape after the group stage came to an end.

Group A was won by the much improving Stuart Bingham who failed to lose a single match. He will face John Higgins in the first semi-final.

The second semi will see world number one Judd Trump face Neil Robertson after both men edged through difficult matches to book their place in the semis.

The Semis will take place this Saturday at the Grimsby Auditorium and the final will follow on the Sunday. It is worth noting that whichever man wins on Sunday evening he is assured to be a first time winner.

Also this week, Judd Trump continued his fine form by winning the Victoria Bulgarian Open in Sofia. He finally beat John Higgins in a final after failing to do so in past tournaments including the 2011 world championship.

Trump recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory.

Sofia also saw a maximum 147 break from Tom Ford in his third round tie against Matthew Stevens.
